About the Recipe
This recipe is so simple and easy, and it freezes beautifully, either as a ready cooked meal, or as the raw combined ingredients to be thrown straight in the slow cooker. Make a double or triple batch for lots of ready to go meals for those crazy busy days.
Ingredients
8 Chicken thigh fillets, free-range, organic, skinless
1 tsp Ground ginger
4 Cloves garlic, crushed
2 tsp Sesame oil
3 tbs Olive oil
5 tbs Honey
3 tbs Soy sauce
Sesame seeds for serving
Preparation
Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker, mix all the marinade ingredients together and pour the over the top. Turn on high and cook for 4 hours (or 8hrs on low), turning the chicken over or basting them once halfway through the cooking. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds, with brown rice and steamed broccoli.
